Shanghai Jewish Film Festival - Shanghai Ghetto
The B'nai Emunah Sisterhood is proud to present the Shanghai Jewish Film Festival with distinguished speakers. Congregation B'nai Emunah was originally founded by German Jews who fled through Shanghai more than 70 years ago. We would like to honor our past by offering you to experience not only the screening of the movies but also a unique Q and A session with Guenter Gruschka, one of our "Shanghailanders".
This evening's film is Shanghai Ghetto by Amir Mann. It is very well researched and full of original footage. There will be a large screen and comfortable chairs. We will serve light refreshments.
The festival continues on Sunday, February 10, 2013 with Port of Last Resort.
This is an interfaith event! Please spread the word and bring a friend.
